How to open CMD prompt

Create your own CMD Prompt launcher when your Windows Command Prompt Does Not Open.
Usually we open CMD prompt by Pressing Windows Key+ R
then in Run Box, we type "cmd" and then Enter

But what if you need a shortcut or if cmd prompt is blocked.
You need to ,
Open notepad and copy paste following lines:


@echo off
cmd
@echo on


CTRL+S to save as "cmd.bat" on Desktop

Double-Click on cmd.bat to Run the file.

KBps vs kbps

Though this is not trick but still I am posting this, coz many people are still confused between the download speeds they get while browsing.
Sometime you feel like your Service provider is not giving you the same Bandwidth for downloading what he has proposed to you. After reading this, hope there wont be any further confusion.


Lets start with definition,
there are 8 bits in one byte.

8 bits = 1 byte.
1024 bytes = 1KB
1024 KB = 1 MB
1024 MB = 1 GB

Service Providers says "bandwidth" in Mega Bits.
So, 1Mbps is 1 Megabits per second

And what we people are interested in is Download or Upload speed which we usually measured in Bytes or Kilobytes -KBps or KBs.

Roughly - if you divide your bandwidth (in bits/megabits) by 8 (because 8 bits equals a byte) you will arrive at the download speed you'll get for that plan.
Using the same example, a 1 Mbps connection will give you a download speed of 125KBps
